Welcome to our Organization
The Transplant Advocate Association’s mission is to provide support, knowledge and encouragement to those touched by organ and tissue transplantation; and to inform the public about the need and benefits to others of organ and tissue donation.
Always looking for new members, or even just to provide support based on their own experiences, the TAA is there as a resource. We have members who have been through so many different facets of the transplant process and just talking to them can help a great deal.
2015-16 Graduate Award
The Transplant Advocate Association is pleased to announce a $500.00 award to be awarded to a secondary school graduating student from a Kingston area high school in June of 2016. If you, or someone you know, have been affected by the organ or tissue transplant process as a donor or recipient, you are eligible for this $500 prize.
To be considered please write a one-paragraph (maximum 200 words) description of how an organ or tissue transplant has affected you. Please submit this to your guidance counsellor before May 2nd, 2016. In turn we ask guidance counsellors to forward any and all submissions to Simon Baron at firstname.lastname@example.org by May 3rd, 2016.

Upcoming Meetings and Events
June 04, 2016 at 11:00 AM
Go to our golf page using the menu at the top of the page to get more information!
Even though the TAA does not meet through the summer months, we are definitely still available to meet and talk or chat! Be sure to call us or email us and we'll be more than happy to meet you for a coffee or whatever you like to let you know about the group, or just to have a chat!
With the success and exposure that the Transplant Advocate Association is getting for this site, we have decided to launch an ambitious and further reaching site, canadiantransplantsupport.ca.
It will provide people with information on obtaining pre and post tranplant support from individuals or groups within their region. We feel that this will help many people find the information and personal support that is necessary throughout the entire process. Please take a look and feel free to provide any input or feedback using the email found on the new site. Thanks for checking it out!
